Vaccination Mindset – Terrified of Germs, Trusting of Toxins

“A people without knowledge of their past, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.”-Marcus Garvey

All over the world, parents are reacting out of fear. They are terrified of germs, yet they trust toxic injections. Why does the Western world adopt a culture of vaccination? Because we fear microbes. We have been trained to believe that communicable diseases are life threatening and that we are powerless to fight them without vaccinations. After all, it is reasoned, people used to die from diseases like the measles, didn’t they?

Although this is true, we don’t look at the evidence in perspective. In the past, we didn’t have access to clean water and nutritious food. Under conditions like these, many mild illnesses posed a serious threat and were more likely to prove fatal.

Research is Time Consuming; Besides, Isn’t That What Regulators Are For?

In America, and much of the Western world, we are busy and overworked. Understandably, we want to be able to trust the expert opinions of public servants in their respective fields. Some would call this the height of naiveté, but it’s understandable. No one has the time to be an expert on everything. But when we outsource responsibility for our health, the outcome is uncertain at best. Many Americans look to the CDC for guidance, but are they really the best source of unbiased information?

Four scathing federal studies, including two by Congress, one by the US Senate, and one by the HHS Inspector General, paint CDC as a cesspool of corruption, mismanagement, and dysfunction with alarming conflicts of interest suborning its research, regulatory, and policymaking functions. CDC rules allow vaccine industry profiteers like Dr. Offit to serve on advisory boards that add new vaccines to the schedule. In a typical example, Offit in 1999 sat on the CDC’s vaccine advisory committee and voted to add the rotavirus vaccine to CDC’s schedule, paving the way for him to make a fortune on his own rotavirus vaccine. Offit and his business partners sold the royalties to his rotavirus vaccine patent to Merck in 2006 for $182 million.-Robert Kennedy

Big business is driving vaccine mandates, and they are using regulatory agencies as the vehicle.

Those Who Do Not Know The Past Will Believe Anything

It suits pharmaceutical industry interests to give credit where none is due and to revise history, giving credit to vaccines for eradicating disease. In medical school, doctors are taught that vaccines eradicated all manner of diseases when, in fact, improved sanitation is responsible. When doctors tell you vaccines eradicated disease, this shows a profound ignorance of history and the pharmaceutically biased indoctrination that they have mistaken for a medical education.

Any college freshman can tell you that correlation does not equal causation. Just because something correlates, that doesn’t mean that the cause is easy to determine. Vaccines were introduced well after diseases were already on the decline. Vaccine manufacturers and government regulators tell us that vaccines made the difference. While they try so hard to turn this correlation into causation, they paradoxically try to ignore the rapid rise of autism, asthma, allergies, ADHD and other neurological disorders that tightly correlate with today’s dirty vaccines and the overblown vaccine schedule. A few graphs are worth a thousand words. Here are some visuals of our forgotten history (click on the image below for more charts):

England and Wales whooping cough mortality rate from 1838 to 1978.

Pro-industry propaganda has permeated so deeply into Western consciousness, vaccines are seen as a panacea for diseases everywhere, both here and abroad. Foreign aid often comes in the form of a syringe, even when people don’t have access to the most basic of necessities, such as healthy food, or clean water.

We May Not Like To Admit It, but All Cultures Do This

When faced with an unknown, people often resort to rituals and other superstitions. Germs are intimidating because they can bring down the young and the old. They are invisible and are usually untraceable. Communicable diseases are frightening, powerful forces of nature. When people feel powerless, they often resort to magical thinking.

You can see this kind of behavior in sports fanatics. As fans, they have little influence over the outcome of sporting events. To grant team supporters an illusion of control, they often wear their lucky jersey in order to “help their team win.” The belief that their actions can have a direct effect on their teams’ outcome is widespread. According to one ESPN poll which showed no statistically significant differences between race, education, or gender, as many as 1 in 5 fans try to improve the luck of their favorite team in a variety of different ways. Some fans never purchase or own things that are the colors of their rival teams. Other fans believe that they are the bad luck, so they refuse to watch their favorite teams play. Some of the most die-hard fans don’t watch the seasons’ most crucial games due to the belief that watching those games will “jinx” their team. This behavior is very ironic, as it is actually the opposite of supporting one’s team.

Westerners are just as superstitious as everyone else. We just show it in different ways. We make connections where none exist. We see correlations where none exist.

Ritualistic behavior is common to all cultures. When people die (death is another aspect of life with which we have little to no control) a series of rituals, such as a wake, a viewing, burial/cremation, and so on take place as a means of mitigating the loss and showing respect for the deceased. These rituals help to give a sense of control over death. Even though we can not stop death, we can organize our activities around it.

When faced with microbes and the threat of disease, something we believe to be out of our control, many of us subject ourselves or our children to the ritual of vaccination. We are attempting to control the invisible.

The Ritual of Vaccination

Even though they seldom work in a lab, doctors wear lab coats, which lends an air of authority, and an illusory scientific presence. They tell their patients vaccines are safe and effective without discussing the risks. Unfortunately, most doctors are not fully aware of the risks. They cannot tell you what the shots contain or why many of the ingredients are included. They are however, usually aware that they and the pharmaceutical companies are safe from harm should your child die or become disabled due to the vaccinations they recommend.

Vaccination is a form of ritualistic practice that is filled with make-believe. Why are vaccines injected? Infants and children often cry when injected, and this pain engenders a renewed commitment from the parents. The injury of injection, however small, doubles their commitment. After a brief surge of guilt, parents become more entrenched in the idea that vaccines must be necessary, because of the belief that no one, even pharmaceutical industry employees, would put a child through pain if it wasn’t necessary.

Despite the fact that there has never been a study proving all of the vaccines in the schedule are cumulatively safe, and the growing concern among scientists and doctors about their synergistic toxicity, parents all over the world are sacrificing their children to the superstition of vaccination. With reassuring voices, they tell their children the shots are necessary, even when they know nothing about them.

The information age has begun to change this entrenched belief. It is difficult, if not impossible, to silence tens of thousands of parents, holistic health care practitioners, and vaccine injured people connected to the Internet. The truth is being disseminated all over the web. Vaccines can and often do cause the exact diseases they are intended to prevent. Also, death is a known risk of immunization, as is paralysis, brain damage, neurological disorders, and auto-immune disease.

If We Are To Believe the CDC, Formaldehyde is Unsafe in Construction, Yet Perfectly Safe When Injected

Ever since the CDC released a report on the dangers of formaldehyde found in laminate flooring, people have been in an uproar over the health risks. News stories abound warning people to avoid laminate flooring or advising them to limit their exposure. The CDC even recently revised their report, showing that the dangers are in fact worse than they originally stated.

Formaldehyde in laminate flooring can contribute to respiratory problems and irritation in the general population, not just to those in at-risk groups. The lifetime cancer risk was raised from a range of 2 to 9 per 100,000 extra cases of cancer to 6 to 30 extra cases per 100,000 due to exposure from the fumes of formaldehyde additives in flooring. With all this concern over the risks to people’s health from breathing in minute particles of formaldehyde dust from flooring, it stands to reason that more people should be concerned with the fact that formaldehyde is commonly found in vaccines.

Formaldehyde is injected directly into the bloodstream via vaccination. But under the auspices of vaccination, anything goes due to enculturation. People of a culture believe that their way is the correct way to do things, and other cultural practices are backward or flat out wrong.

Health Doesn’t Come From a Bottle, and It Doesn’t Come From a Syringe

With clean hands and dirty injections, doctors spread disease to all those who heed their advice. Using a syringe heightens the sense of urgency because injections are commonly used with trauma victims and those who are unconscious. If more vaccines came in another form, they would be less popular. They would seem less urgently needed, and the connection between failed pharmaceuticals (like the countless medications taken off the market because they weren’t safe) and vaccines would be better formed in the minds of the public. Vaccines are, in fact, pharmaceuticals. They are made by the same corrupt companies that are regularly caught breaking laws and fined for putting profits before public safety. Health doesn’t come from pharmaceuticals. It comes from good sanitation, proper nutrition, and low exposure to toxins.

Conclusion

For a culture to be functioning, people must believe that their way is the right and proper way to do things. Most Westerners, especially Americans, believe that culture is something other far away people have and that we live by the scientific method. When it comes to the health of our children, we live by the untested method.

When Andrew Wakefield first recommended that the MMR vaccine be split up into separate vaccinations, he was vilified, labeled a quack, and stripped of his medical license. He dared to research the dangers of vaccination. He challenged the Western cultural paradigm. He was seen as a traitor to our way of life. Yet, when an entire country, Japan, refused the MMR vaccine and chose to use 3 separate vaccines, they were not vilified because they belong to a different culture.

The Japanese do not begin vaccines until two years of age, and their schedule has less than half of the immunizations than the U.S. schedule. As a result, their SIDS rate has plummeted to nearly nothing, and their autism rates are a tiny fraction of America’s. As vaccinations have been added to the CDC schedule, autism rates have been rising. The vaccine injured are all around us, so many now that they have become the new normal.

We are told that vaccines are keeping diseases from making a comeback and that herd immunity is propping up our health like the Greek Titan Atlas holding up the world. These are myths. Vaccine mythologies run deep, and many people are beholden to these beliefs. Improved sanitation eradicated disease. If we are fortunate enough to open our eyes to this basic historic fact, then we must open the eyes of others as well. Many of us are under the cultural delusion that to vaccinate is to do something, and not to vaccinate is to do nothing. In truth, there is much that we can do to build up our immune systems. Only the truth can set us free and pull back our cultural blinders.

Herbs With Healing Properties You Can Grow at Home

Growing herbs in your home is not only easy, it is highly recommended. This is especially true if you are growing them for medicinal purposes. Although you can buy herbs, you won’t know how the plants were raised or how the herbs were stored. Nothing beats the quality of homegrown herbs.

It doesn’t really matter if you have expert gardening skills as herbs require nothing but basic knowledge and some free space. If you have a garden in your home, it is wise to reserve some of the available space there for herbal medicines, as they can truly help when you are feeling ill. The best part is that the following are all easy-to-grow and require very little in terms of care.

Cilantro (Coriandrum sativum)

The flavour of this plant is so unique,  that people either hate it or love it. It is used in several Thai and Mexican dishes, but most notably in Indian curry.  You can easily grow it in a moist, cool garden. Cilantro is a digestive aid and it also helps you detox heavy metals.

Callendulla or Marigold

Calendula (Calendula officinalis)

The other name for Calendula is pot marigold. It is a powerful antiseptic and antifungal tool. Use the petals  for wound care and soothing the skin. Numerous cosmetic products use the plant for its properties, which is proof of its quality. This annual blooms throughout the entire season and looks charming in an outdoor garden, where it can receive plenty of sun.

Peppermint (Mentha x piperita)

PeppermintYou are well-aware of the boost of freshness you get from peppermint flavoured toothpaste. Did you know that peppermint is also a very powerful ally against digestive discomfort (peppermint tea) and aching muscles (peppermint liquid/lotion)? You will do well to include this moist-loving plant in your garden. Just keep in mind that the leaves of the plant should be harvested before they flower or they will taste bitter.

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)

RosemaryThe main benefit of rosemary is its power to bring more oxygen to your brain for better memory. According to expert gardeners, this herb is the equivalent of caffeine. The best part is that the evergreen plant is very drought tolerant and will likely survive any environment.

Lavender (Lavandula)

LavenderAccording to some studies, lavender is not only a perfume plant, it may also be used to benefit the nervous system. Adding some lavender oil to your bath will most certainly reduce tension, stress, and even insomnia. In order to grow lavender, you will need to provide a dry environment that is hot and sunny.

You can benefit a lot from each of these herbs, especially if you have invested time and effort in growing them at home. Do consider all of the benefits, and plant them today. Be sure to check out Handy Gardeners’ Blog for more articles on gardening.

A History of Bad Medical Advice

“Trust your doctor” or so goes the saying. You wouldn’t blindly trust a car salesman. You’d ask a lot of questions to see if a car is right for you. But most of us have been conditioned to believe our doctors are infallible. To question their judgment is akin to blasphemy. Students of medical history know better.

Bloodletting

Bloodletting was a popular treatment for all manner of ailments, widely used for more than 3,000 years. In 19th century Europe, bloodletting reached the height of its popularity.

In order to understand the rationalization of bleeding patients in order to “get them better” a (somewhat) convincing argument for the practice was made by the father of medicine, Hippocrates.

Hippocrates believed illness was caused by an imbalance of one or more of the four humors: blood, phlegm, black bile, and yellow bile. To correct the imbalance, bloodletting, purging, catharsis, diuresis, and other treatments were utilized. Bloodletting became the most popular means of balancing the humors and “restoring health.”

Famous bleedings (Quoted from The History of Bloodletting)

When Charles II (1630–1685) suffered a seizure he was immediately treated with 16 ounces of bloodletting from the left arm followed by another 8 ounces from cupping. Then he endured a vigorous regimen of emetics, enemas, purgatives, and mustard plasters followed by more bleeding from the jugular veins. He had more seizures and received further treatment with herbs and quinine. In total he had about 24 ounces of blood taken before he died.

After riding in snowy weather, George Washington (1732–1799) developed a fever and respiratory distress. Under the care of his three physicians he had copious amounts of blood drawn, blisterings, emetics, and laxatives. He died the next night of what has been diagnosed retrospectively as epiglottitis and shock. His medical treatment aroused significant controversy, particularly the bloodletting.

The tools used in bloodletting included various cutting instruments, lancets, fleams, and the medicinal leech, Hirudo medicinalis.

Presently, bloodletting is rarely seen as beneficial and it is used in only a select few instances, such as severe cases of hypertension.

Smoking Cigarettes is Good For You

It is common knowledge that smoking is bad for your health. This knowledge is so commonplace now that many of us take it for granted. For decades, tobacco companies used doctors, and actors portraying doctors, to raise confidence in the safety of their products.

These promotions were very successful, and many doctors, especially throat doctors, were not only assuring the public that cigarette smoking wasn’t bad, they claimed smoking was healthy and could even be used as a treatment for throat irritation. Beyond recommendations, doctors were also hired to do pseudoscientific studies, studies paid for by the tobacco industry that consistently produced unrealistic results that supported smoking. When physicians and science are for sale, lies can be perpetuated for a very long time.

According to Stanford,

The list of recruitments who served as experts testifying on behalf of tobacco interests includes a virtual who’s who of leading otolaryngologists in the 20th century, including many leading head and neck cancer surgeons,” Jackler said.

In 1949, the average physician income was $11,058. In that era, a $5,000 payment — which was common from tobacco companies to otolaryngologists — represented a major inducement.

Even after the Surgeon General’s Report of 1964 definitively linked smoking with cancer of the voice box (larynx), the otolaryngology departmental chairs of four major universities testified before Congress in opposition to the findings.

Despite the fact that doctors are ethically bound to put the health of their patients before corporate profits, we have numerous historical examples of how industry can corrupt science. This kind of practice continues to this day.

Eat a High Carb Low Fat Diet

The USDA food pyramid was a low fat, high carbohydrate diet that was far from healthy. Our bodies are not designed to eat like this, but the government and many medical doctors still recommended it. The food pyramid was based on very expensive, highly flawed science.

During the 1980s, nearly a million Americans a year were dying of heart disease. Something had to be done. Problem is, what was done was worse than doing nothing at all.

Low-fat options are everywhere. In lieu of real ingredients like natural fats, highly processed or synthetic chemicals are added to boost flavor and appeal such as artificial flavors, artificial colors, high-fructose corn syrup, amino sweet (aspartame), MSG, and so on. Food-like products are marketed as food, and the differences between good (healthy) fats and bad (unhealthy) fats are lost on many people.

Healthy fats were discovered when anthropologists noted that arctic people, such as the Inuit and Yupik, ate high protein, high fat diets and yet had very low rates of heart disease. This called into question the demonization of fat.

According to Harvard:

Your body needs some fat from food. It’s a major source of energy. It helps you absorb some vitamins and minerals. Fat is needed to build cell membranes, the vital exterior of each cell, and the sheaths surrounding nerves. It is essential for blood clotting, muscle movement, and inflammation. For long-term health, some fats are better than others. Good fats include monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. Bad ones include industrial-made trans fats. Saturated fats fall somewhere in the middle.

…Omega-3 fatty acids may help prevent and even treat heart disease and stroke. In addition to reducing blood pressure, raising HDL, and lowering triglycerides, polyunsaturated fats may help prevent lethal heart rhythms from arising.

Replacing fats with carbohydrates may indeed slightly lower heart disease, but its close cousin, cardiovascular disease, often afflicts those who follow high carb diets along with countless other health problems such as obesity and diabetes. The pyramid and the new program, choose my plate.gov dietary guidelines (which is almost as unhealthy), point Americans in the direction of chronic disease and an early grave.

Mercurial Medicines

Mercury is a neurotoxin, but in the past medical professionals didn’t understand how toxic it is to all forms of life. It was included in elixirs and ointments for thousands of years.

Qin Shi Huang, the man credited with unifying China, will probably always be best remembered for his military conquests. He was also obsessed with cheating death. Ironically, his efforts to extend his life drastically shortened it. It is believed that he died of mercury poisoning, an unintended side effect of his “immortality treatments”. His memorial was built with rivers of mercury, and an army of intricately crafted terracotta soldiers.

Mercury has been used to treat all manner of diseases, none of them successfully. Mercury is 500- 1,000 times more toxic than lead. It was the active ingredient in quicksilver, an ointment that was used as a remedy for a number of skin diseases. Mercury was later used as a treatment for syphilis and used in many other ointments, in steam baths, pills, and other concoctions. Mercury treatments often caused mercury poisoning, a condition that if not fatal could also manifest as tooth loss; mouth, throat, and skin ulcerations; or neurological damage.

Today, mercury, under the name thimerosal, can be found in hundreds of prescription and over the counter medicines. It continues to be used in lotions, creams, eye drops, eardrops, and nasal sprays. Mercury is widely used in dentistry and it is still used in many vaccines. Mercury also has many names, making it harder for consumers to identify.

Mercury is also known as:

  • Thimerosal
  • Phenylmercuric acetate (PMA)
  • Phenylmercuric nitrate (PMN)
  • Mercuric acetate (MA)
  • Mercuric nitrate (MN)
  • Merbromin (MB)
  • Mercuric oxide yellow (MOY)

Chemotherapy Kills Faster Than No Treatment At All

There is no finer example of bad medical advice than advising patients to undergo chemotherapy. Most people dismiss the idea that you can cure any cancer naturally with over a 90% success rate. Generally speaking, people do not put much faith in alternative medicine or natural cures. Even those who ascribe to the idea of a natural and organic lifestyle tend to dismiss natural cancer treatments, thinking that cancer is too big, too strong, and too deadly for alternative medicine.

New research is confirming what the most committed natural practitioners already knew. It is likely that the radiation and chemotherapy that are used as treatments are too deadly, too heavy handed for cancer.

Dr. Jones’s study published in the journal Transactions of the New York Academy of Sciences shows chemotherapy is killing cancer patients four times faster than no treatment at all.

Conclusion

Bad advice is everywhere, and it can stem from every profession, even the medical profession. History has taught us that there are times the experts are nearly unified in their advice and are still dead wrong. The reasoning has always been the same, that the benefits outweigh the risks. When you’re given bad medical advice, you run the risk while the benefits belong to the physician. Ultimately our health is too important to trust the experts without doing our own research.

Four Techniques to Relieve Joint Pain Using Essential Oils

Joint pain may result from injuries, rheumatism, arthritis, or by maintaining bad posture for long periods or time. Essential oils are widely used for relieving joint pain due to their anti-rheumatic, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic properties. These effective oils may be used individually or blended together before they are applied to the affected area.

Depending on the location and severity of the pain, application of the essential oil may be through massage, soaking in the bath, or hot or cold compresses. The best essential oils for joint pain alleviation include clove, rosemary, lavender, ginger, marjoram, chamomile, peppermint, eucalyptus, and juniper.

Technique 1: Massage Clove Oil on the Affected Area

Clove oil is a popular essential oil with strong antibacterial, antimicrobial, and hemostatic properties that is used to counter inflammation. Apply small quantities over the painful muscle or joint to avoid skin irritation or you can dilute clove oil with a carrier oil (such as coconut oil) if you have sensitive skin. Add up to 12 drops of clove oil to 2 ounces of carrier oil, and massage it into the affected area.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, clove oil should be avoided.

Technique 2: Apply a Blend of Essential Oils

A blend of clove oil with other essential oils such as cinnamon, rosemary, peppermint, lavender, and geranium is also effective for alleviating joint pain. Mix at least three of the oils with your preferred carrier oil to make a 1% dilution (6 drops of essential oil to 1 ounce of carrier oil). Apply to the painful joint two times a day.

You may increase the concentration to 3% (20 drops of essential oil to 1 ounce of carrier oil) or more or apply more than twice a day depending on the reaction.

Another combination that works well with sore joints is 1 drop of black pepper, 1 drop of ginger, 2 drops of V’Nilla blend, 3 drops of rosemary, 3 drops of coriander, 4 drops of marjoram, and 6 drops of roman chamomile with 2 ounces of carrier oil. Massage the area with this blend on a daily basis until the pain decreases.

Technique 3: Bath Soak With Oils

Pain involving many joints is best relieved by taking a warm bath in water blended with essential oils. Mix 2 drops of rosemary, 4 drops of juniper berry, 2 drops of cypress, 2 drops of lavender and 1-2 cups of bath salts. Make the bath salts by mixing Epsom salt and baking soda in equal amounts.

Add a few flakes of sea salt and magnesium chloride, and pour the mixture into a tub. Fill the tub with water and allow it to blend for about 30 minutes  before bathing.

Technique 4: Hot and Cold Compresses

Medics have found that hot and cold compresses alleviate joint pain, and adding essential oils improves the effectiveness of this therapy. Heat water to a favorable temperature. Select at least three essential oils and add 4 drops of each oil. Dip a towel in the water, squeeze out the excess water, and place it on the affected area. Apply the hot pack for 15 minutes for each session, alternating with a cold pack after a few hours.

Conclusion

Applying the right combination of essential oils on affected areas is an effective way to relieve joint pain. These oils also reduce muscle spasms and muscle tension and create a soothing effect.

How To Relieve Allergy Symptoms With Essential Oils

Allergies are a major bummer that can cause anything from rashes and itchiness to respiratory and digestive problems. They make you miserable and keep you from performing at your best. One way to treat allergy symptoms is through the use of essential oils, a natural therapeutic method known and used for centuries.

Here Is a List of Tips on How To Relieve Allergy Symptoms With Essential Oils:

Tip 1: Lavender Oil

Lavender oil works well as an organic antihistamine to soothe skin rashes. It can also be used to relieve headaches. Not only does it relieve the pain, but it smells great, too. All you have to do is dab some on the rash three times a day. For headache relief, place a drop of lavender oil on your cheeks, forehead, and sinuses.

In most cases, undiluted lavender oil can be safe to use, but some people’s skin is so sensitive, they require a carrier oil such as coconut oil or almond oil. Mix 1 drop of lavender oil to 1 teaspoon carrier oil.

Tip 2: Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil has a strong, minty aroma that soothes allergies, especially ones related to digestive or respiratory issues. It eases breathing and treats congestion. For digestive problems, add a drop of peppermint oil into a cup of tea or water.

To relieve sinus congestion, add 1 drop of peppermint oil to 1 teaspoon carrier oil and apply near your nostrils. (Don’t put peppermint oil inside the nostrils. It will burn sensitive tissue.)

Tip 3: Lemon Oil

Lemon oil works as an antihistamine and a congestion reliever all at once. It’s most potent when combined with lavender and peppermint, which will be explained later.

Tip 4: Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus oil treats seasonal allergies and asthma attacks. First, dilute the oil in a carrier oil (1 drop of essential oil to 1 teaspoon of your carrier oil), then apply to neck, chest, or feet. If you prefer to breathe it in, mix a few drops in hot water, drape a towel over your head, and inhale the steam.

Tip 5: Roman Chamomile Oil

Roman Chamomile oil works well to soothe rashes and other skin conditions. All you have to do is dilute it in a carrier oil and apply to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day.

Depending on the area of application, you may have to change your mixing ratios. For example, in more sensitive skin areas it is recommended to dilute 1 drop of Roman Chamomile in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil. For less sensitive areas, dilute 2 drops of Roman Chamomile in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil.

Tip 6: Lemon, Peppermint, and Lavender Oils

As mentioned earlier, lemon is at its strongest when mixed with peppermint and lavender. Together, they soothe inflammation and other pain that results from allergic reactions. One way to use them is to mix all three in a glass of water and gargle a few minutes before swallowing. (Make sure the oils can be safely ingested first before doing this.) Another way is to add them to a teaspoon of honey and swallow for faster relief.

To use on the skin, mix 3 drops of lavender, 3 drops of peppermint, and 3 drops of lemon oil with 2 teaspoons of your chosen carrier oil. If this mixture is still too potent for you, add more teaspoons of carrier oil in increments of one until you are satisfied with the consistency. Some people are more sensitive to oils than others.

Conclusion

Now that you know the variety of ways to treat your allergies with essential oils, give them a try. To learn more about essential oils, subscribe for email updates at Essential Oil Advocate and get 2 free audiobooks on essential oils and aromatherapy.

Principles of Naturopathy

There are no incurable diseases! – Dr. John R. Christopher N.D.

What a wonderful statement Doctor Christopher makes. Let’s look at the conclusion that logically follows:

All Disease is Curable

Phew!  This is even stronger.  But is it true?  And, assuming it is true, why stop there?  Let’s follow this line of thought.

The Following Are the Basic Laws of Naturopathy

  1. Man is a composite of spirit, mind and body.
  2. The spirit of man is senior to his mind, which is senior to his body.
  3. The spirit alone may heal the mind and body.
    1. The mind by itself cannot heal itself, and requires effort on the part of the spirit.
    2. The body by itself cannot heal itself, and requires effort by the spirit using the mind.
  4. All disease (spiritual, mental or physical) is stoppage that is brought about by stress.
  5. All disease is curable.
    1. Even though all disease is curable, some people are not.  It is sometimes extremely difficult convincing some people that they should survive when they don’t wish to.
    2. Many people wish to survive.  (the positive)
    3. Some people actually wish to succumb, to give up and die.  (the negative)
    4. Those who wish to survive are penalized by associating with those who wish to succumb for they feel the need to take others with them.
    5. Those who wish to succumb benefit (survival wise) from being associated with those who wish to survive.  Basically, they are human parasites.
    6. Stress, which then brings about stoppage is created by the actions of, and connection with these negative people.
    7. The positive, who wish to survive, optimally should either handle those in their lives who are negative by educating and bringing them over to being positive, or failing that, disconnecting from them completely, and as quickly as possible.
  6. A state of optimum health is positive and is the natural order of existence.
    1. A diseased condition is the responsibility of, and created by, the individual himself.  It is negative.
  7. Ethics means “surviving optimally for the good of all”.  An ethical person is a healthy person for they are healthy in spirit, mind and body.
  8. Optimum health and balance is brought about by:
    1. Ethical conduct.
    2. Education, with the idea of improving one’s existence and the survival of others as well.
    3. The introduction of high-quality organic nutrition.
    4. Proper biochemical and nutritional supplements.
    5. A good exercise program, and
    6. A sufficient rest schedule.
  9. An ethical person is not only surviving well himself, but is also actively contributing to the optimum survival of his family, his groups, and all of mankind.  He knows that he is responsible for his fellows and is also very concerned with the ecological welfare of the planet.

This list is probably far from complete, and as time goes by this author hopes to fill in any gaps.

However, the immediate questions raised are:  Are these laws true?  And, can they be used to resolve all physical illness?

A decade of study, research, and running many students and clients on personal health programs, has shown the above to be completely accurate, 100% of the time.  There were no exceptions.
