Four Things Everyone Will Have To Do To Get Well

In every case I’ve ever seen where unhealthy people with disease-riddled bodies later became vibrantly healthy, they all had to do four things:

  1. They all had to completely get off of all drugs, including marijuana, caffeine, alcohol, any and all prescription drugs, and over the counter medications.
  2. They had to fix their gut.
  3. They had to totally change their diet, eliminating processed foods and eating lots of produce for the rest of their lives.
  4. They had to give up coffee, sweet smoothies, and fruit juices, at least for a while.

Eliminate Drugs

You cannot be healthy while you put toxins into your body. It just doesn’t work. This includes vaccines. Injecting, inhaling, or ingesting chemicals and toxins into the body does not bring about health.

Every time you damage your body’s DNA, you age. Chemicals made in laboratories damage the body’s DNA. To a point, you can detoxify and undo most of the damage done by these substances. You can even reverse damage done to DNA. But at some level, every time you damage your body with chemicals, there is some permanency.

Don’t smoke anything. Smoking introduces too many carcinogens. Smoking always adds toxins to the blood, making the blood thick and putting stress on the liver, kidneys, thyroid, adrenals, eyes, and reproductive organs.

Stimulants cause a reaction similar to an allergic reaction. This puts unneeded stress on the thyroid, the adrenals, and kidneys.

Alcohol acidifies the body, stresses the liver, and promotes Candida growth.

I’m not telling everyone that they should get off of all drugs. I am saying that you cannot ever truly be healthy while regularly using drugs.

Fix Your Gut

Every single person  I have known who was sick  had too much Candida overtaking their sick gut and wrecking havoc on their whole body. Gut health is the source of most and often all of people’s health issues.

Most people can repair their gut with proper diet and time, but detoxification protocol and supplements can speed up the process and are required for some people with severely damaged intestines. Look for a strong probiotic and a parasite killer.

Eat Right

If your gut is in poor health, you have to give up wheat and other sources of gluten to get well. Anyone with Candida overgrowth cannot properly digest wheat. Wheat and soy are almost always produced in ways that cause health problems when they are consumed. Soy and corn in packaged products are almost always GMOs. Genetically Modified Organisms destroy gut health.

You also have to give up refined sugars and processed packaged almost everything. Replace them with salads, lots of produce, and home-cooked, whole foods. Eat raw organic crushed garlic, turmeric, and black pepper with your food.

Eat lots of vegetables. Eat a wide variety of raw organic vegetables. Here are some of the benefits of raw organic vegetables:

  • More enzymes
  • Feeding the right ecosystem and keeping it clean
  • Better digestion and assimilation of all nutrition
  • Strong, clean, light, and vibrant blood
  • Strong, very efficient immune system

Many of these benefits also come with eating fruit, but for anyone who is sick, fruit should be limited as the sugars do feed infection including Candida, bacteria, parasites, and yeast. Certain fruits are great for certain health issues, and fruits should not at all be avoided. They should just be limited until the gut flora is working for you and not against you.

Cooked foods have some benefits as well, but the importance of enzymes is often overlooked, so eat raw every day.

Drink Right

Sugary smoothies, sweet fruit juices (even when freshly made at home), coffee, most commercial teas, sodas, and almost everything else people drink needs to be completely eliminated for a time until health is restored, and then some of them can be consumed in moderation. Conclusion

Some people need supplements and a very strict diet to get results, but a fair majority can heal the body and be entirely ailment free with proper dietary habits and giving up toxic junk. Crazy Pills: Over-the-Counter and Prescription Meds Linked To Dementia

A new study clearly shows common over-the-counter medications widely used for asthma, allergies, and insomnia increase the risk for dementia. The study also found that the risk may not be reversible, even after several years off of these medications.

The drugs studied are anticholinergic drugs, which block a neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, in the central and the peripheral nervous system. These drugs are available over-the-counter and through prescriptions. Many are used on a regular, long-term basis to treat a variety of medical complaints including:

  • allergies and allergic reactions
  • motion sickness
  • irritable bowel syndrome
  • insomnia
  • colds
  • ulcers
  • asthma
  • excessive sweating
  • COPD
  • urinary incontinence
  • depression
  • smoking cessation
  • cough suppressant
  • muscle relaxer
  • Parkinson’s disease

These drugs include:

  • Zyban
  • Wellbutrin
  • Dramamine
  • Cogentin
  • Chlor-Trimeton
  • Benadryl
  • Sominex
  • Advil PM
  • Unisom
  • Robinul
  • Atarax
  • Atrovent
  • Oxivent

The study showed the risk of dementia rises when these anticholinergic medications are used at higher doses or for longer periods. It is not unusual to find these drugs used in combination, especially with the elderly population. For instance, one individual may be using a sleep aid, an allergy medication, and a medication for depression. If all of these drugs are anticholinergic drugs, the accumulative effect increases exponentially, raising the risk of dementia.

Earlier studies had shown these medications increased the risk of dementia; however, these studies also concluded cognitive decline decreased when these drugs were discontinued. The new study, a more longitudinal study, suggests that years after continuation, the risk of dementia remains higher for people who have used more of these drugs or used them for a longer period of time, suggesting a cause and effect even when the drugs were discontinued years prior to the development of dementia.

The study showed that even low amounts over long periods of time increased the risk of dementia. While the study focused on older adults, what about children and young adults? How many children and younger adults are regularly taking anticholinergic over-the-counter or prescription medications for allergies or asthma? How many adults of all ages are taking anticholinergic over-the-counter or prescription sleep aids?

This should be a wake-up call for all of us to remember that medications treat symptoms, not the cause of disease. To get well, to be truly well, we must give the body the nutrients it needs to heal. We must detox. We must live lives that are as clean as possible: clean food, clean water, clean environment. It has been made clear over and over that we cannot trust pharmaceutical companies! Why You Should Avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup & Aspartame

When chemicals added to processed foods earn a bad rep for causing disease and disability, one would hope the food manufacturers would remove them from their products or the FDA would protect the American people by banning them, but neither seems to be the case – not when big money is at stake. Instead the food manufacturers either launch dis-information campaigns claiming their additives are either healthy or benign, or they confuse and deceive the consumer by using a different name for the same additive. For example, according to The Truth in Labeling Campaign, MSG can be found in food under 50 different names.

With this history of deceit, it comes as no surprise to learn that we now have to look for high fructose corn syrup and aspartame under new names.

High Fructose Corn Syrup

Dr. Mark Hyman has spent more than ten years studying high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), reading and interviewing “most of the ‘medical and nutrition experts'”.

He states the following reasons why we should never eat HFCS and why eating it may kill you.

  1. “Sugar in any form causes obesity and disease when consumed in pharmacologic doses.” Both are dangerous to the body in the amounts eaten by the average American.
  2. “HFCS and cane sugar are NOT biochemically identical or processed the same way by the body.” HFCS not only spikes insulin since it goes right into the bloodstream, it also goes right to the liver triggering the production of triglycerides and cholesterol. New research finds that it is a common cause of leaky gut syndrome. “High doses of free fructose have been proven to literally punch
    holes in the intestinal lining allowing nasty byproducts of toxic gut
    bacteria and partially digested food proteins to enter your blood stream
    and trigger the inflammation that we know is at the root of obesity,
    diabetes, cancer, heart disease, dementia, and accelerated aging.”
  3. “HFCS contains contaminants including mercury that are not regulated or measured by the FDA.” Mercury was discovered. Other contaminants were also detected but as yet are unidentified.
  4. “Independent medical and nutrition experts DO NOT support the use of HFCS in our diet, despite the assertions of the corn industry.” The industry takes comments out of context and passes them off as supportive to their products when they are not.
  5. “HFCS is almost always a marker of poor-quality, nutrient-poor disease-creating industrial food products or “food-like substances”.” Surely we all know by now that nearly all processed food is garbage.

Add to this impressive list the fact that most of the corn in this country is genetically modified. Do you ever want to put this in your body?

So now that the truth about high fructose corn syrup is more readily available, Chex cereal has decided to rename it – calling it fructose. Even while their packaging states that the product does not contain HFCS (which is 55% fructose), instead it contains HFCS-90, (note it is high fructose corn syrup with 90% fructose) and they are calling it fructose.

Aspartame

The makers of aspartame use the argument that orange juice is natural and good for you and all they did was take two of the amino acids from orange juice to make their product. What could possibly be wrong with that?

You can easily find arguments on either side of aspartame safety from a nutritionist with a PhD listing 92 reasons aspartame is dangerous and should be completely avoided to articles claiming test after test has proven it’s safe. It is interesting that those articles always say something about the level ingested. The fact that aspartame changes into formaldehyde in the body is enough for me. I’ve smelled it. Have you?

Again, this is big business with lots of money at stake. So now a rebranding is underway. Aspartame is now aminosweet. Consumer beware.

How I Replaced Medications With Essential Oils

I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in March 2014. Today, 11 months later, my symptoms are virtually gone. Not only are my MS symptoms gone, I am no longer taking medication for the other disease symptoms that I suffered with for more than 30 years, like asthma and migraines. I’m 98% well. I can’t credit essential oils with getting me well, I owe my renewed health to the changes I made in my diet first and foremost. But while getting well, and every now and then once wellness has been achieved, it’s nice to have access to an all natural, side-efect free type, chemical free treatment.

When I Experience Symptoms

I still occassionally experience breakthrough symptoms, especially if I eat something I shouldn’t. Symptoms can also reappear due to stress, environmental triggers, or exposure to toxins. When I do experience symptoms, I have found essential oils work well for me, whether I am experiencing wheezing, muscle cramps, or something else. It’s important to note here that every person is different and the source of his or her symptoms will vary. Oils can only do so much to treat disease. The foundation of health must start with a clean, plant based diet.

I take 5 slow, deep breaths and every symptom of asthma immediately goes away

Trial and error is necessary to discover which oils work for you. Sometimes it takes a while to to find the right oil or combination of oils that will do the trick. It’s crucial to start with quality, therapeutic grade oils. Be sure your essential oils do not contain filler oils, like olive oil, which will dilute the strength and effectiveness of your essential oil. If the oil requires you to dilute it in another oil, you want that option to control the strength and the choice of the carrier oil. If you don’t find relief with an essential oil, try a different oil, a different combination of oils, or another brand.

The Oils That Helped Me

The MS symptom that was the most severe for me (other than the paralysis) was the muscle spasms. They prevented me from sleeping, and we all know how tough life can be when you haven’t sleep for a few days in a row. It’s life altering.

Basil oil first provided me some relief from my leg spasms. Sandlewood and frankincense oil helped as well. After awhile, I found Shillington’s Deep Tissue Repair Oil (a blend of wintergreen, menthol and cayanne oils). I have used this oil for spasms ever since.

I’ve been an asthmatic for as long as I can remember. Now, when I feel my chest get tight or sense a slight wheeze, I no longer reach for my “Puffer” (Proventil rescue inhaler). Now I grab an oil belend called “Breathe”. I put a drop or two into my hands, rub them together (like Mr. Miyagi did in Karate Kid), and place them in front of my face. I take 5 slow, deep breaths and every symptom of asthma immediately goes away. If I feel any allergy symptoms, I put a five drops of lavender, lemon, and pepperment oil in a vegetable capsule and swallow it. I haven’t used my puffer for more than 6 months.

For migraines, I use lavender oil and then add pepermint oil. I also use a blend of frankincense, sandlewood, ylang ylang, and pepermint. This amazing blend is known for for cell regineration and specifically neuron (brain cell) repair. It helps both my MS symptoms (weakness and imbalance) and migraines.

How to Apply Essential Oils Topically

The symptom will determine how you apply the oils. Essential oils can be difused into the air or otherwise inhaled, applied directly to the skin (topically) as well as taken internally. When you apply oils topically, you can either apply them straight (directly to the skin from the bottle) or use a carrier oil. A good rule to follow is if you are trying to apply the oils to a large surface area (back, legs, etc) use a carrier oil first. When I am treating my muscle spasms, I apply organic coconut oil to my leg first. This helps the essential oil spread evenly, and not soak into one spot. Then I drop the essential oil into my hands and spread it on top of the coconut oil. You can “stack” oils, too. Rub one into your skin and then place another one on top of it.

When I feel a migraine coming on I use the oils (lavendar and pepermint) straight, and stack them. I place them directly on the pressure points at the base of my neck. I also place them on my temples, and the skin behind my ears down to my jaw line.

The soles of the feet, wrists, and the space behind the ears down to the jaw line are all great places to put any oil for fast absorbtion. The skin in these areas is thin, so the therapeutic benefit of the oil can quickly absorb into the bloodstream and go to work.

Other Oils I Use

In addition to the oils I’ve already mentioned, I also use oils like melaluca (tea tree), lemon, oregeno, and grapefruit oils daily. Most oils have amazing antiviral, antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

I’ve used melaluca to treat everything from a bacterial vaginal infection to a sore throat to foot odor. Just make sure to dilute this oil well with a carrier oil (coconut or olive oil) if you are applying it topically. Melaluca, like cayenne oil, needs to be diluted well before being placed on the skin (especially in the nether regions). It won’t physically damage your skin, but it can cause a strong burning sensation.

I also use melaluca or lemon oil to clean my house. Put 5 drops in a spray bottle, fill it with water and go to work. Just a note: the oils can clog the spray nozzle. To prevent this just dissolve the oils into some grain alcohol and add the mixture to the water and you are ready to clean. Lemon oil works great for cleaning mirrors.

Oregano oil helps with toothaches and skin infections; grapefruit oil helps reduce the appearance of cellulite (due to its diuretic properties) and it has strong antidepressant properties.

I mix a few drops of grapefruit oil with coconut oil and use this to moisturize my whole body every morning. After I moisturize, I feel uplifted and am ready to face the day. These are some of my favorite uses for essential oils. What are yours?

This formula is awesome, and I have found it to be beneficial for arthritis patients, torn ligaments, pulled muscles, and maladjusted vertebrae. Suprisingly, it will sometimes get rid of a headache almost instantly if you put a drop on both of your temples and rub it in. Vegetables and Nuts That Are Fruits

We generally label foods as fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts by their taste, appearance, and use. Not all vegetables are vegetables, and not all fruits are fruits. And strangely, not all nuts are nuts; some are seeds, and some are actually fruits. Botanists have very specific criteria to categorize fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts that often do not line up with our common definitions.

A fruit is the ovary of a plant that develops from the flower. Fruits contain seeds. So root vegetables like potatoes, beets, onions, garlic, radishes, turnips, etc. are all vegetables. All your greens – spinach, chard, kale, collard greens, mustard greens, etc. – are vegetables. Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, asparagus – are definitely vegetables.

“Veggies” That Are Actually Fruits

  • Tomato
  • Snow peas
  • String beans
  • Sugar snap peas
  • Pumpkin
  • Avocado
  • Eggplant
  • Cucumbers
  • All squashes (including zucchini, yellow, spaghetti, acorn and more)
  • Peppers (including bell peppers and hot peppers)
  • Okra
  • Olives
  • Corn (the kernels are technically the fruit of the plant, though corn is usually classified as a grain.)

The botanical definition of a true nut is a hard-shelled pod that contains both the fruit and the seed. Examples of true nuts include chestnuts, hazelnuts, and acorns.

“Nuts” That Are Botanically Fruits

  • Almonds
  • Peanuts and other groundnuts
  • Hazelnuts
  • Chestnuts
  • Macadamia nuts
  • Pistachios
  • Coconuts
  • Walnuts

“Nuts” That Are Actually Seeds

When it comes to how we eat and what we choose to eat, the botanical categories don’t matter. To eat a truly healthy diet, 80% of our diet should consist of fresh, raw, whole, organic produce – more vegetables than fruits. And when we say more vegetables, we are not specifying the botanical definitions, just the common ones.

We generally think of fruits as being sweet. It is the natural sugar content we should watch as we decide our ration of vegetables to fruits. How to Detoxify From Chemotherapy and Repair the Body

This is not the easiest article for me to write, as I have seen many people cure cancer naturally. On the other hand, being diagnosed with cancer is so incredibly scary for someone and their family, and choices are made in haste.

Many times I’ve seen someone who believed in natural medicine, someone who swore they would never go the chemo route, get talked into chemotherapy by what I hope are well-meaning physicians and a terrified family. If you are considering chemotherapy while reading this, I urge you to, first and foremost, find out how much time you have before the situation is dire. In most cases, the person diagnosed with cancer has much more time to make a decision than the oncologist led him or her to believe. In fact, with many types of cancer, the average five to seven-year survival rate is decreased once chemotherapy is administered.

If you have undergone chemotherapy, the bad news is that chemotherapy is often more dangerous than the cancer itself. We’re not typically told this because of the immense profits involved. The good news is if you are very strict with your diet and you are not suffering from a host of other ailments that were brought on before the cancer diagnosis, you can detoxify the body and reverse most of the damage caused from the drugs.

Here’s the catch. Whatever you were doing that caused your body to develop cancer in the first place has to stop! Chemotherapy ravages the body, and nobody is more prone to cancer than someone who already had it and underwent chemotherapy. After detoxifying from chemo drugs, don’t just put all of your newfound knowledge about health aside; it’s time to live in a way that allows your body to continually detoxify. After all, your life depends on it. Your body just sent you that message loud and clear.

Juicing Tonic

Juice ginger, turmeric, cranberry, and lemon. Leave the peel on the ginger and turmeric. You will need two ounces of each juice. Each ingredient should be organic and whole and juiced immediately before it is consumed. Use a citrus juicer for the lemon. A juice press (slow juicer) is ideal for the other ingredients.

If you can’t find whole fresh cranberries, try to find pure, unpasteurized, unsweetened, organic cranberry juice. If you cannot find it (try your health food stores and your local farmer’s markets), get organic frozen cranberries. The last resort is pasteurized, organic, unsweetened cranberry juice that is not from concentrate. If you cannot find that, you’re not trying hard enough.

Add a little bit of fresh cracked pepper and a pinch of cayenne to your cup of juice. Drink it. Shot it down or sip, whatever you need to do, but know that once it gets down, the ginger will settle your stomach.

For the first few days you should be drinking two cups of this tonic a day. After that, if you find that you’re not terribly sick, you could move to just two or three ounces in the morning. If you suffer from serious nausea, then I recommend drinking the tonic regularly, sipping it throughout the day.

Cranberry Lemonade

Make a gallon of fresh, organic, cranberry lemonade with stevia every day. Drink as much as you can. The juice will filter the kidneys and keep them operating, help cleanse the liver, and help balance the pH. The water needs to be distilled, not spring. Spring water is wonderful, but this is the time for pure, ultra clean drinking water void of any potential contaminants. Juicing

After chemotherapy, the body will have a very hard time digesting food, and juicing may be the best and possibly the only way to get enough nutrition into your body. If you are digesting food well enough I would skip the juicing.

I am not usually an advocate of regular juicing because juice is too sugary unless it’s just vegetable juice. Unfortunately, pure vegetable juice is not palatable to most, including me. Granny Smith apples, beets, and carrots are all high in sugar, but you can use just a little juice from these three sources to sweeten your vegetable juice – but just enough to get it down.

Liver Detox

Chemotherapy is incredibly toxic to the body. You must cleanse the body of all remaining chemicals.

Immune System

  • 1 Handful of Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Handful of chopped Onions
  • 1 Handful of chopped Ginger
  • 1 Handful of chopped Horseradish
  • 1/2 handful of chopped Habanero Peppers

Throw in a blender and cover with an inch or two of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar.

Candida

An unbalanced gut encourages an overgrowth of Candida. Candida leads to cancer (and almost every other disease and ailment of our modern era). Wormwood, a strong probiotic, oil of oregano, and undecylenic acid will keep the gut balanced and kill Candida.

Undecylenic acid, probiotics, oil of oregano, and salads (like these) repair the gut. Take oil of oregano separately from the probiotics, as the oil of oregano will kill beneficial bacteria. I recommend taking your probiotics at night, every night after other microbe-killing supplements and the last meal have been consumed.

Epsom Salts Baths

Epsom salts pull salt and toxins out of the body while the skin absorbs magnesium and sulfates. Magnesium is critical for enzymes, for oxygenation, muscle and nerve function, improving blood flow and reducing inflammation. Sulfates are building blocks for tissues, including nerve tissue.

To benefit the most from an Epsom salts bath, use the proper amount and soak for the required amount of time.

If you weigh 100 pounds, use one cup of Epsom salts. Use an additional ½ cup for each additional 50 pounds. For example, 101-150 pounds = 1 ½ cups. 151-200 pounds = 2 cups. 201-250 pounds =2 ½ cups. And so on.

Stay in the water for a full 40 minutes. The first 20 minutes pulls out toxins. The second 20 minutes absorbs magnesium and sulfates.

Hydrotherapy – Hot and Cold Showers

Hot water pulls blood to the skin’s surface. Cold water does the opposite, driving the blood from the surface to the core. Alternating hot and cold speeds up circulation, bringing fresh blood to the tissues along with oxygen and nutrients, while aiding the body in carrying away toxins.

For 20 minutes, alternate hot and cold. Start with water as hot as you can stand for two minutes then switch to as cold as you can stand for two minutes, and then switch again. This is a very powerful healing tool.

Nutrition

Nutrition is the basis of health. In order for us to be healthy and stay healthy, we must detox, ridding ourselves of toxins, parasites, and pathogens, and we must give our body all of the building blocks it needs to heal itself by eating an abundance of nutritionally dense, whole foods. That’s the foundation, and a good nutrition formula (make your own here) like this one should be included, but not substituted, for a healthy diet. You can put this into smoothies, juice, drink with just water (which is a bit hard to get down), or sprinkle it on salads. The following link has a recipe for salads and for the cranberry lemonade.

Do not eat processed foods. Never eat artificial flavors, colorings, preservatives, MSG, trans-fats, or GMOs. It is impossible to eliminate all of these harmful chemicals if you eat out at conventional restaurants. It is nearly impossible if you eat processed, prepackaged foods, even from the “health food section.” It is entirely possible – actually downright easy – if you simply eat whole, fresh, unadulterated, organic foods. Your diet should consist of 80% fresh, raw, organic produce, more vegetables than fruits.

You do this by eating an incredible salad once a day, a salad with 10-15 vegetables, including plenty of dark leafy greens. You eat fresh fruit a few times a day (unless you are already getting fresh fruit in a smoothie or through juicing), and you add nutritional powder to your daily regime.

Your goal is to choose the most nutrient dense foods with the fewest toxins. Along with avoiding all the additives to foods, eliminate sugar and caffeine. Also, add essential fatty acids (Organic Vegan EFA, krill oil, or flaxseed oil) to your diet.

Right now, you need to avoid meat. If you choose to eat meat in the future, choose organic meat. Remember, we eat at the top of the food chain.

To Vaccinate or Not To Vaccinate

A few generations ago there was no question. Vaccinations were the modern miracle of the day. Thanks to the pharmaceutical companies we were well on our way to eradicating horrific childhood diseases that resulted in death or lifelong disability. Right?

As parents we are told that vaccinations are mandatory. You must vaccinate your child to enroll him in daycare, to enroll her in school. And then you sign a permission slip after acknowledging your awareness of the risks. It lists possible outcomes like catching the very disease your child is being immunized against or worse. You realize your child could be permanently damaged by that shot or could even die. But the odds are so low and you don’t really have a choice, do you? Not if you want your child to go to school. So you grit your teeth, say a silent prayer, and sign on the dotted line.

Vaccine Injury

Times are changing. The real story is slowly being revealed. The climbing autism rate is horrific. Vaccine manufacturers (thanks to vaccine court) are admitting the link between autism and vaccines, whistleblowers are coming forward, and correlations are undeniable, but mainstream media and most of the conventional medical world still denies the connection.

India’s Supreme Court took Merek to trial over Gardasil (HPV) vaccinations that sickened many girls and killed seven.

Vaccine Effectiveness

Recent outbreaks of whooping cough and measles have shown the ineffectiveness of the vaccines. Anti-vaccine proponents will argue that the effectiveness of all of the vaccines shown in the past was more a matter of increasing sanitation rather than the public campaigns to vaccinate. A clear downward trend in all of the illnesses targeted by vaccinations continued at the same rate after vaccinations began.

Pharmaceutical Companies and Morality

For so many years, we have refused to believe that a pharmaceutical company could possibly hurt anyone on purpose or through wanton negligence. A look at this year’s pharmaceutical scandals by Health Impact News puts that argument to rest.
