Eric Clapton Speaks Out About Adverse Reaction to Covid-19 Vaccine

Prior to receiving the Covid-19 vaccine Eric Clapton and Van Morrison released a song titled “Stand and Deliver” in which they touch on their feelings of the U.K’s response to the pandemic.

Stand and deliver / You let them put the fear on you / Stand and deliver / But not a word you heard was true / But if there’s nothing you can say / There may be nothing you can do / Do you want to be a free man / Or do you want to be a slave?

Stand and Deliver

Clapton expressed displeasure with the lockdown response, but still got a vaccine as he believed he was vulnerable to the virus due to age and pre-existing health conditions.

Following his first dose, Clapton experienced fever and chills.

I went and had the jab … within several hours, I was shaking like a leaf and I went to bed early and I couldn’t get warm … and I thought, I’m running a fever. I was boiling hot and sweating and then I was cold, and I was out for the count for about a week.

Eric Clapton Details His Vaccine Injury

Despite side effects from the first dose, he followed through with the second dose. Clapton was previously diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, which causes nerve damage in the arms and legs that can result in pain, burning, numbness, and the feeling of pins-and-needles. Following his second dose, Clapton lost the use of his hands almost completely.

I expected it to be something that would gradually grow worse as I got older into my 80s, but always I could get some ice pack or whatever and it would be fine.

Clapton also said the vaccine caused damage to his immune system, as his peripheral neuropathy got significantly worse. Clapton has worried about speaking out for fear of losing friends and family and believes this and fear of reprisal has prevented many from speaking out.

Clapton says his biggest fear about the pandemic has been the coercion by the media, the way they use fear to manipulate people into being responsible for other people’s lives.

Andrew Marr Asks If Just Unlucky to Catch Covid-19 After Being Vaccinated Twice

BBC’s Andrew Marr got coronavirus despite being fully vaccinated. In an interview with Sir Peter Horby, he asks if had just been “unlucky” in getting sick.

Andrew Marr states that the covid-19 vaccine is “remarkably effective” at preventing hospitalization and deaths from covid-19, but that as more people get vaccinated we will see more vaccinated people getting sick.

Horby points out that Marr wasn’t hospitalized and did not die from Covid-19, and claims this is most likely due to the vaccine. Marr says that his case of Covid-19 was “really really quite unpleasant” and suggests that it needs to be made clear that you can still get Covid-19 if you’re vaccinated.

He also suggests that it be made known that while your risk of being hospitalized or dying is supposed to be dramatically reduced, that doesn’t mean that your case of Covid-19 won’t be relatively severe and uncomfortable.

Growing Evidence Links Covid-19 Vaccine to Myocarditis

The CDC has reported higher-than-usual cases of myocarditis after vaccination, overwhelmingly in young men under 30.

So far 226 cases of myocarditis have been reported in men under 30 where the CDC was expected fewer than 100 cases for this age group.

Problems are most common after the second dose of an mRNA vaccine but the CDC said more research is necessary to determine if the vaccine is the cause of the problem.

Teenagers and people in their early 20s accounted for more than half of the myocarditis cases reported to the CDC’s safety monitoring systems following Covid-19 vaccination, despite representing a fraction of people who have received the shots.

Evidence grows stronger for Covid vaccine link to heart issue, CDC says

Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle. Most cases were mild and went away on their own. Fifteen patients are still hospitalized with three still in the ICU.

Feds Say Employers May Require Workers to Get Vaccinated Against Covid

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has released new guidance stating that employers are now allowed to require workers to get a COVID-19 vaccine prior to returning to work.

Employers must provide “reasonable accommodations” for workers unwilling or unable to get the shot due to pregnancy, disability, or religious reasons. This could mean requiring unvaccinated workers to wear masks or work remotely.

The EEOC has also stated employers could offer workers incentives for getting the vaccine, as long as the incentive is “not so substantial as to be coercive”. Bolthouse Farms has begun giving vaccinated employees $500 as a bonus. Dollar General is offering an extra four hours of pay for employees who can prove they’ve been vaccinated.

In the months since the vaccines have become widely available, some workers have been blindsided by their bosses’ demands to get inoculated. “It was shocking to me,” Bonnie Jacobson told The Post after losing her waitress job in Brooklyn in February. “I went through the stages: I’m hurt, I’m in shock — then I got mad.”

Feds say employers can require workers to get COVID vaccine

None of the COVID-19 shots are FDA approved, they have only been authorized for emergency use. A little more than half (51%) of Americans have been vaccinated against the coronavirus according to the CDC. A recent survey of employers by Arizona State University said 88% of employers would encourage their workers to get vaccinated and six in 10 planned to demand proof.

Recent Poll Shows One in Four Unvaccinated People Not Continue to Wear a Mask Indoors

As of mid-May, the CDC has said that fully vaccinated people no longer have to wear a mask indoors in most settings, like grocery stores. According to the guidelines, those who are unvaccinated are supposed to continue wearing a mask.

A recent survey, however, shows that as many as 1 in 4 unvaccinated people may go without a mask in settings where they are supposed to according to the CDC. Just over 50% of Americans are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

About 1 in 5, or 21%, reported that they had not received a COVID-19 vaccine and do not plan to do so. In addition, more than one-quarter (26%) of that 21%, equivalent to about 5% of the total set of respondents, also said that they plan to not wear a mask in indoor spaces like stores and restaurants.

1 in 4 unvaccinated people may not comply with CDC guidelines to wear masks indoors, survey suggests

In theory, and according to the CDC those who are vaccinated against the coronavirus shouldn’t be worried about catching the coronavirus from unvaccinated people. Despite this, many vaccinated people still plan to continue wearing a mask in indoor public settings.

U.S Health Officials Call For a Pause in Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

The FDA has called for a pause in the use of the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine after reports of severe blood clotting.

There have been six cases of severe blood clotting in 6.8 million doses of the vaccine. This comes after similar reports of blood clots with the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The FDA and the CDC have said they were reviewing the six cases of blood clots and recommending a pause out of “an abundance of caution”. Johnson & Johnson has said the following:

We are aware that thromboembolic events including those with thrombocytopenia have been reported with Covid-19 vaccines. At present, no clear causal relationship has been established between these rare events and the Janssen (J&J) Covid-19 vaccine.

The Biden Administration Discusses Plans for Vaccine Passport

With the coronavirus vaccine’s initial rollout at the end of last year, I wasn’t sure how vaccine administration would go. If I had to guess, I would have assumed that front-line workers would have started to get vaccinated, and then vaccines wouldn’t be widely available for those who wanted it beyond essential workers.

From what I’ve seen, that hasn’t been the case. The majority of the people I know have been able to get the vaccine if they wanted it. That being said, the group of people I’ve talked to is not necessarily representative of the whole population, so I can’t speak for everyone.

As many people begin to get vaccinated, the Biden administration has begun discussing how to set standards for proof of vaccination. There are as many as 17 different initiatives in the works to develop their own “vaccine passport” namely, The World Health Organization, the International Air Transport Association, and a tech company called the Vaccination Credential Initiative.

New York recently started using a digital pass developed by IBM that shows both vaccination status and COVID-19 test results. Madison square garden has displayed interest in implementing the digital pass for admissions to events.

While not ‘mandated,’ governments appear to be pulling off a bait and switch, easing public tensions with verbiage that makes them feel they have a choice, when in reality their freedom to do almost anything in life will be hindered unless they roll up their sleeve and take a new, experimental vaccine that still hasn’t been fully approved by the FDA. The FDA has only provided approval via the Emergency Use Authorization.

Biden Admin Pushing ‘Vaccine Passports’ – Here’s What You Need To Know

Proof of vaccination will likely be required to travel internationally. While there is talk of vaccination being required for major gatherings it is currently unknown how far the vaccine passport concept will extend.
