Small Family Farmer Fights Back Against Over-reaching Government Forcing her off her Land

(NaturalNews – Julie Wilson) Martha Boneta, operator of a small family farm in Paris, Virginia, achieved success not only for her business but also for small farmers and property owners across the state when the “Boneta Bill” finally became law on July 2.

Despite efforts from local and state government officials, including Fauquier Zoning Administrator Kimberley Johnson, who accused Boneta of violating zoning ordinances, HB-268 passed, which protects traditional farming and agricultural practices against over-regulation on the county level.

Liberty Farm is a small, working 64-acre farm located about an hour outside of Washington D.C. that offers fresh seasonal organic vegetables, fresh and dried herbs, honey and honeybee products, eggs, chicken, duck, turkey, emu, hand-made soaps and sheep wool crafts.

The controversy began in 2012 after a neighbor reported Boneta’s farm and its on-farm store as a “nuisance” following a birthday party that she held for eight 10-year old girls, which led to Fauquier County putting her out of business.

Johnson, the county zoning board administrator, accused Boneta of selling fresh fruit, vegetables, beverages and homemade handicrafts out of her on-site farm store, an action he says violated “modified zoning rules.”

The Star Exponent reports that, under the state’s Right to Farm law, agricultural operations are supposed to be protected against “nuisance law suits, and prevent local governments from using zoning laws to restrict standard farming practices, even if these practices bother adjacent property owners.”

According to Boneta, her zoning administrator went on her Facebook page and saw a birthday party picture of little girls on her farm, and an advertisement that she posted for pumpkin carving in her pumpkin patch. Boneta says she was found in violation of engaging in traditional activities that farmers have engaged in “since forever.”

The consequences for Liberty Farm’s alleged violation carried a penalty of $15,000 per day in fines “based on amendments made to the county’s zoning ordinance,” reported The American Spectator.

Despite maintaining that her retail farm business license was “grandfathered” into any changes made by the county, Boneta was also forced to stop selling vegetables that she had harvested. To prevent the food from being wasted, she donated it to local charities.

Boneta’s story gained national media attention, prompting farmers to stage peaceful “pitchfork protests” outside of the Board of Zoning Appeals building in support of her farm and state property rights.

The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF), of which Boneta is a member, offered her legal aid during her struggle.

In the 2013 session of the General Assembly, Rep. Scott Lingamfelter helped bring justice to Boneta and protect other farmers from similar abuse by spearheading legislation that would strengthen Virginia’s Right to Farm Act.

The “Boneta Bill” passed the House by an “overwhelming margin,” but was killed in a Senate committee. However, grassroots organizations and Boneta’s supporters didn’t give up, but instead returned to the General Assembly in 2014 and “won wide bipartisan approval for legislation protecting the rights of family farmers.”

Backed by the Virginia Farm Bureau and signed into law by Gov. Terry McAuliffe, customary activities at agricultural operations are now protected from local governments unless substantial impacts on public welfare can be proven.

The bill also prohibits localities from requiring special-use permits for farmers wanting to host farm-related activities.

“I am grateful to all the Virginians and legislators from across the Commonwealth who rallied for non-partisan legislation that provides economic opportunity for small family farmers, access to consumers and allows the great traditions of farming in Virginia to flourish,” said Boneta.

“It is gratifying to see the hard work of Virginians, working together across party lines, rewarded by a law that enables family farms to prosper as our Founding Fathers intended.”

Charges Brought upon Doctor and Advocate for Toxic Flame Retardant Chemicals

Dr. David Heimbach, a well-known advocate of the flame retardant chemical industry, was one of the nation’s top burn surgeons. But now the doctor is facing disciplinary charges and has surrendered his medical license. The charges have been brought on by Washington’s Medical Quality Assurance Commission.

State officials have accused Heimbach of fabricating testimony. A 2012 Tribune investigation titled, “Playing with Fire,” exposed Heimbach as a fraud. The doctor was thought to be an unbiased burn expert who testified to the efficacy of the toxic flame retardant chemicals added to furniture. Not only are these chemicals toxic, but research has shown that despite what Dr. Heimbach’s claimed, they do not work.

The Tribune reported that Heimbach’s testimony about babies dying in fires was part of a campaign of deception paid for by the chemical industry.

In the charges, the commission cited Heimbach’s work for Citizens for Fire Safety. It turns out this organization is merely a front that is founded, funded, and controlled by the three largest manufacturers of flame retardant chemicals.

Due to health concerns, states were looking into banning or at least putting limitations, on flame retardant usage.

Citizens for Fire Safety accomplished their agenda, which was to scare the public in regards to the dangers of fires, while downplaying health risks linked to flame retardant chemicals, including, but not limited to, cancer, developmental disorders, and neurological deficits.

In a written response to the commission, Heimbach said that Citizens for Fire Safety paid him a total of $240,000 for consulting work he did in 2010 and 2011. The problem is, he never disclosed this information at legislative hearings.

“I should have been more circumspect regarding this, but I was an advocate of fire retardants and had read the scientific literature indicating that they were useful and that the benefits exceeded the risks of their use,” he wrote to the commission. “I only learned the true circumstances after the newspaper articles appeared. Mea culpa for this.”

The doctor also said that he believes flame retardants are useful and that his testimony was not meant to mislead anyone.

Animal Farm Becomes Certified Organic

In a move truly deserving of the comment “You can’t make this stuff up,” illustrating the widening divide in the organic community the USDA’s National Organic Program announced this week that they would require public interest groups, educators, and the public to get their blessing before using the USDA organic logo in media coverage.

Maybe this edict isn’t entirely Orwellian, and maybe it’s not Stalinistic, but it sure smacks of how the press operates under Premier Vladimir Putin.

After months of pointed criticism, and press coverage,of a series of allegedly illegal power grabs by the USDA, stripping authority Congress vested in the advisory panel it created, the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB), the USDA has figured out a way to resolve the dispute — control the message.

Their quarterly newsletter, distributed this week, recapped the recent NOSB meeting in San Antonio, Texas. It was one of the most contentious meetings in the history of the organic movement. It included a protest that initially shut down the proceedings and a parliamentary challenge to the illegal power grab by NOP staff director Miles McEvoy.

The protest ended after police came in for an arrest and the challenge, under Roberts Rules of Order, endorsed by a number of board members, only ended after a long adjournment where Mr. McEvoy conferred with his staff (and superiors and lawyers in Washington by phone) and subsequently threatened to shut the entire meeting down and send everyone home if the parliamentary motion challenging his authority wasn’t withdrawn.

But if you read the USDA’s Organic Integrity Quarterly you might question the “accuracy” of their story. There’s not a word of any dispute at the meeting even though, besides the protests, numerous citizens and public interest groups, in formal written and oral testimony, condemned the USDA’s actions.

And this meeting came on the heels of a letter written to USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack by the two primary authors of the Organic Foods Production Act, the law that gave the USDA the authority to establish the NOP in the first place. Senator Patrick Leahy and Representative Peter DeFazio clearly stated that the USDA moves were a violation of congressional intent and requested their immediate reversal.

Not a word about any of this in the USDA’s quarterly organic newsletter.

But now the USDA wants to read anything The Cornucopia Institute, a corporate and governmental watchdog in the organic arena, or any other public interest group intends to publish if we want to use the USDA organic logo.  This logo is owned by the citizens of the United States of America.

Now don’t get me wrong. Their advice to commercial interests, to have their certifiers review labels where they might use the USDA seal, for compliance with the law, is sound. But stifling constitutionally protected free speech? No, that’s a gross overstep of power.

Cornucopia’s Board President, a third-generation certified organic farmer from Durand, Wisconsin, Helen Kees, after reading this newsletter instructed Cornucopia staff to “Give ‘em hell” and included a referral to an experienced constitutional lawyer. We doubt it that will be necessary. Someone at the USDA will be wise enough to not kick that hornet’s nest.

The former Soviet comic Yakov Smirnoff recently appeared on National Public Radio. He talked about how his standup routine was censored before he immigrated to the U.S. NPR’s Bob Garfield said, “He wasn’t making it up, well, except for the name, ‘Department of Jokes,’ which was actually the Humor Department of the Censorship Apparatus within the Soviet Ministry of Culture.”

So I guess I should have submitted this commentary for Mr. McEvoy to refer to his “Department of Sanitation” within the USDA Ministry of Culture.

The divide between the corporate sector/USDA and traditional organic agriculturalists is actually no laughing matter.

In addition to Mr. Leahy and Mr. DeFazio, virtually every public interest group, that monitors the organic industry, along with consumers and farmers, called for the reversal of the heavy-handed moves by the USDA alleging that they are going to undercut the credibility of the organic label.  Only powerful industry interests are siding with the regulators.

And who is on the other side? The clout-heavy industry lobby group, Organic Trade Association, United Natural Foods Incorporated (the largest organic food distributor), Stonyfield and the nation’s largest organic certifier, CCOF.

More recently, and disturbingly, the umbrella group for the nation’s organic certifiers, the independent inspectors/auditors that act as agents of the USDA, overseeing farms and giant corporate processors alike, have chimed in, coming to the USDA’s defense.

The certifiers are supposed to be the independent umpires. The only thing that assures that they will not be biased, in favor of their clients who write them their paychecks, is the judicious oversight of the USDA’s accreditation and auditing of these entities. And now you have them buttering up Mr. McEvoy and helping in his damage control campaign? How unseemly.

What makes it even more unseemly is the fact that the board of directors at two of the largest certifiers, CCOF and OCIA, say they never were informed by their staff of their organization’s endorsement of the controversial moves at the USDA.

The organic movement has always been about transparent debate and the focal point has always been at the semi-annual meetings of the National Organic Standards Board. That board can no longer set its own work plan and agenda, and Mr. McEvoy has now effectively appointed himself co-chairman of the board.

All that would be bad enough but now he wants to control the news and censor dissent. Those of us who care deeply about the ethical precepts that the organic movement was founded upon will not let that happen.

McDonalds Buys Our Nation’s Health

This story should not surprise me, but it does. Sort of. Kiera Butler wrote an article for Mother Jones titled, “I Went to the Nutritionists’ Annual Confab. It Was Catered by McDonald’s.”

One recent Friday afternoon, in a Mariott Hotel ballroom in Pomona, California, I watched two women skeptically evaluate their McDonald’s lunches. One peered into a plastic bowl containing a salad of lettuce, bacon, chicken, cheese, and ranch dressing. The other arranged two chocolate chip cookies and a yogurt parfait on a napkin. “Eww,” she said, gingerly stirring the layers of yogurt and pink strawberry goop. The woman with the salad nodded in agreement, poking at a wan chicken strip with her plastic fork.

When I asked how they were liking their lunches, both women grimaced and assured me that they “never” go to McDonald’s. So why were they eating it today? Well, they didn’t really have a choice. The women were registered dietitians halfway through day two of the annual conference of the California Dietetic Association (CDA). They were hoping to rack up some of the continuing education credits they needed to maintain their certification. McDonald’s, the conference’s featured sponsor, was the sole provider of lunch. “I guess it’s good to know that they have healthier options now,” said the woman with the salad.

She mentioned some of the other sponsors included Coca-Cola, Hershey, Yum Brands, Kraft, and Wal-Mart, and more. Basically it was a who’s who of major corporations and special interests groups that are poisoning our health.

Our country has an obesity epidemic. We have several other health issues that can be classified as epidemics as well. And it’s no wonder. The professionals, the people who make the menus for our children, the people who teach us how to eat right, the people who write the books on the subject, get their information, and often times, their salaries, from the very companies that profit on our ignorance.




6 Things in Your Home That Are Unintentionally Making Your Family Sick

Homes are meant to make a family feel safe, secure, and together. While many people take steps to ensure that their homes are clean and healthy places, there are several considerations you may be overlooking in your endeavors to keep your family healthy. Check out these six areas in your home that might accidentally be causing problems for your family.

Carpeting is a household staple. But carpeting might be making your family feel sick. For one, carpet traps pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and other allergens. Some carpet materials also give off volatile organic compounds. These compounds evaporate and are inhaled, which can cause respiratory problems. Volatile organic compounds don’t just appear in carpeting, either.

To eliminate the problem, furnish your home with items that don’t contain volatile organic compounds by asking at the furniture store. Buy thinner carpeting and keep your home well ventilated.

Dust Mites

Most people with dust allergies are actually allergic to dust mites. The microscopic critters like warm weather and high humidity. When they die, they tend to collect in fabric-based furniture and accessories, like beds, pillows, couches, and the like. So if you or anyone in your family experiences allergy symptoms outside of the typical allergy season, the reaction may be to a dust mite allergy.

There are several steps you can take to reduce the number of dust mites in your home, including keeping your humidity down, regularly washing your linens in hot water, and getting rid of bedroom carpeting.

Drinking Water

The EPA regulates and protects clean drinking water, so most people feel it’s safe to drink straight from the tap. But even with the EPA’s involvement, drinking water may not be as clear of contaminates as we’d like to believe. Trace amounts of pharmaceuticals, like ibuprofen and anticonvulsants, have been found in metropolitan water supplies.

The simple workaround might appear to be to drink water out of bottles, but a lot of water bottles are actually filled with tap water that hasn’t been filtered for these specific contaminates. Consider instead water filtration for the whole house, which has the added bonus of preventing the plastic waste that comes from drinking water out of bottles.

Carbon Monoxide

Most homes have smoke detectors that alert you to the presence of smoke in your house. But unless your smoke alarm specifically also features a carbon monoxide detection system, the dangerous gas might be present in your home without your knowledge. Carbon monoxide is odorless, colorless, and has many common household sources like gas heaters, furnaces, dryers, fireplaces, motor vehicles, and more. To protect your family, make sure carbon monoxide producing devices are properly ventilated, and purchase a detector.

Mothballs

Fumigants are what make mothballs so useful against pests. Mothballs contain chemicals that release into the air and kill pests at high enough doses. But these high doses of chemicals can also be harmful to humans. The side-effects of inhaling these chemicals include dizziness, headaches, vomiting, difficulty breathing, and red blood cell loss. Next time you need to take care of creepy crawly pests, safer ways to treat the problem exist. You can eliminate moths without resorting to mothballs.

Refrigerator

Your refrigerator might also contribute to making your family ill. A packed fridge with incorrectly stored food can end up growing things that cause food poisoning. Plus, if the temperature is off, by even a little bit, it only makes matters worse. Keep your cooked and uncooked foods well away from each other, especially meats. Clean the interior of your fridge regularly. Find out what temperature your fridge should be and check it often.

While checking for mold and having a working smoke detector seem like obvious ways to keep your house clean and your family healthy, you may be overlooking some subtler aspects of the equation. Some of these issues, like dust mites, the refrigerator, and carpeting, aren’t deathly serious, others like carbon monoxide and mothballs can cause serious health problems, especially with prolonged exposure. Thankfully most of these areas are easy to take care of with a little diligence.




Fermented Foods Optimize Your Health

Our ancient ancestors’ utilized fermentation as a means of food preservation , creating probiotic enriched foods that were eaten on a regular basis. Many ancient medicine men and physicians began utilizing fermented foods to treat certain ailments. These probiotic enriched foods are one of the most important attributes of a healthy diet and lifestyle.

In the early 20th century, Nobel Prize winning scientist Ilya Ilyich Mechinikov attributed the remarkable health of a group of Bulgarian people to their daily consumption of probiotic enriched foods. He named the unique bacterial species that made up much of their fermented products Lactobacillus bulgaricus. He theorized that probiotic bacteria could have a much greater impact on human health than the much feared pathogenic strains of bacteria.

Every culture around the world has their own unique fermented foods. The Europeans use cabbage, beets, and cucumbers to make foods like sauerkraut, kvass, and pickles. The Koreans make a spiced, fermented cabbage they call kimchi. Asians ferment soy to form products such as tempeh, miso, and natto. They also created a fermented drink known as Kombucha. Many different cultures also made their own fermented sourdough style breads.

Traditional Fermented Foods

Sauerkraut is made by fermenting cabbage, oftentimes in vinegar. Raw cabbage naturally contains probiotics and enzymes that are exponentially multiplied during the fermentation period. Fresh (not canned) sauerkraut is a fantastic source of living enzymes and active lactobacillus and pediococcus strains of probiotics.

Kimchii is most commonly made with Chinese cabbages. There are also other variations of kimchii using cucumbers, eggplants, leeks, radishes, and other seasonal veggies. Often these are prepared with a combination of fermented veggies, giving it among other things, unique antioxidants, live enzymes, and the special organism lactobacillus kimchii.

Fermented soy comes in three major forms: miso, tempeh, and natto. Miso and tempeh often incorporate brown rice and barley fermentation with two unique probiotic yeast species. These yeasts enhance the bioavailability of the amino acids and produce high amounts of B vitamins. The bacillus subtilis bacterium is used to produce natto, which is rich in proteolytic enzymes and vitamin K2.

Fermented Dairy as a Staple of a Healthy Diet

Almost every region has their own fermented raw dairy products. The Bulgarians eat yogurt, the Indians eat Lassi, the Africans have Amasi, and the Eastern Russia/Slovakia areas have kefir, to name a few. Each of these dairy products are fermented with lactic acid based bacteria such as Lactobacillus, Lactococcus, and Leuconostoc, among others.

These raw, fermented dairy products share many of the same bacterial strains. In particular, they share the lactic acid based lactobacillus family of bulgaricus, kefir, parakefir, brevis, casei, etc. Raw, fermented dairy also provides a variety of healthy yeast saccharomyces species. These include saccharomyces unisporus, turicensis, cerevisiae, and exiguous.  Finally, these dairy products contain one of the most potent probiotic strains, bacillus coagulans. The combination of these probiotic organisms’ works in synergy to repair and protect the gut and destroy even the harshest of opportunistic organisms, such as the Candida yeast species.

Many individuals struggle to digest the milk sugar lactose and the protein casein. Fermented raw milk products such as those listed above have not only metabolized lactose but provide large doses of the enzyme lactase to assist in digestion. Most individuals who are naturally lactose intolerant do very well with fermented raw milk products.

Milk coming from cows that produce Beta Casein A1 can be problematic even after undergoing fermentation. It is best to purchase fermented, raw dairy from 100% green-fed animals that are completely free of Beta Casein A1. These acceptable animals would include goats and cows that have been selectively bread to no longer produce Beta Casein A1.

Reasons Not To Vaccinate

We cannot prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that vaccines do more harm than good anymore than anyone else can prove that they are beneficial. There are too many variables. But to say that there is nothing to worry about with vaccines is to bury one’s head in the sand.

Vaccine companies are corrupt. They lobby for new laws preventing lawsuits for vaccine damages. They ship vaccines they find to be tainted, contaminated, or otherwise compromised to developing nations under the guise of being altruistic. They lobby to pass laws forcing vaccines on people, even when the majority of healthcare practitioners state that the vaccine is completely unnecessary. They test dangerous concoctions on the military (soldiers don’t get to choose which vaccines they will receive and some have had dire consequences before being pulled). They continue to add more and more vaccines to the vaccine schedule (recommended vaccines), overloading children at an early age. Some children are receiving as many as 24 shots within their first two years of age. And to top it off, they continue to lobby to try to make vaccines mandatory for all United States citizens. Fortunately, unlike the previous laws they have successfully lobbied to pass, they are yet to have luck with this one.

Vaccinations Cause Injury

We have more vaccinations on our schedule than any other country. We also have one of the highest infant mortality rates and one of the highest newborn death rates among industrialized nations. We also have the highest rate of autism.

Only Latvia, with six deaths per 1,000 live births, has a higher death rate for newborns than the United States, which is tied near the bottom of industrialized nations with Hungary, Malta, Poland, and Slovakia with five deaths per 1,000 births.” – CNN

The United States has the highest number of mandated vaccines for children under 5 in the world (36, double the Western world average of 18), the highest autism rate in the world (1 in 150 children, 10 times or more the rate of some other Western countries), but only places 34th in the world for its children under 5 mortality rate.” – Generation Rescue

Our autism rates, along with many other neurological disorders that can be attributed to the preservatives in vaccinations, are skyrocketing with a direct and very clear correlation to the number of immunizations children are receiving. Anyone who reads the studies can plainly see this. Our brains aren’t working well. While this can be attributed to many factors, studies are being ignored or manipulated in order to hide the truth and keep the profits flowing.

We are obviously doing something wrong.

Fortunately, today, pretty much everyone knows that vaccinations can cause autism and other neurological disorders. This is in stark contrast to just a few years ago when I would write a Facebook post about how vaccines can cause these injuries, and I would be flooded with comments telling me how wrong I was. Since then the CDC and even a few heads of the vaccine companies now admit that these injuries are happening. Julie Gerberding, back when she was the director of the U.S. Center for Disease Control, confirmed to CBS News:

…if you’re predisposed with the mitochondrial disorder, it can certainly set off some damage. Some of the symptoms can be symptoms that have characteristics of autism.”

Now Julie is the President of Merck’s Vaccines Division. No surprise there!

If you’ve ever read the forms required before getting vaccinated, you know the dangers, and you know the drug companies and hospitals are aware of the dangers. We also have the pharmaceutical companies spending millions of dollars every year lobbying in order to get bills passed that make it impossible to hold them legally responsible for any of their vaccine damages as they continue to push more and more new and obviously unnecessary vaccines on us. With 1 out of 150 children affected by autism, according to the National Vaccine Information Center, just imagine how many injuries we don’t know about. Imagine how many children learn everything more slowly, how many children end up with ADHD and dyslexia because of vaccines. How many children are deemed troublemakers and are thought to be unwilling to learn because they can’t learn the way other children do, due to vaccines? And how many children progress significantly slower in so many ways thanks to vaccinations?

And many of the reports, even from the CDC’s own website, show that the likelihood of vaccine injuries are greater than the likelihood of getting the disease the immunization is intended to prevent. Take the DPT vaccine for instance. The chances of a serious adverse reaction are one in 1750, while the chances of dying from pertussis are one in several million. Another example is the HPV vaccine. They tried to pass law forcing young girls (starting at 11) to receive this vaccination. HPV is a sexually transmitted disease and the infections in young women are temporary and have little to no long-term significance.

Vaccinations and Eradication of Disease

Many people in the natural health community will agree that drug companies are corrupt and that the number of vaccines recommended for people is ridiculous and dangerous. They will typically contend that most of today’s vaccines likely do more harm than good. The educated ones will often point to the chickenpox and the measles vaccine and agree that these are obviously totally unnecessary, historically ineffectual, and not worth the risks. But many still argue in favor of the efficacy of the smallpox and polio vaccines.

Diseases run their course. Eventually, a natural immunity develops or the species becomes extinct. There is considerable evidence that this was a contributing factor with smallpox and polio. In addition, health plays a huge role in disease prevention. It’s simple. The cleaner the water and food supply is, the healthier the people are, the better their bodies are at defending against disease. It’s a logical, but typically ignored, fact.

Was Poliovirus Eradicated with Immunization?

Historical documents show a decline in polio cases after the introduction of the poliovirus vaccine for four reasons:

1. Improvements in sewage and water systems. Polio is spread via feces/oral route, and sanitation policies clearly played a major role in the decline of polio. In every case of polio outbreaks, unsanitary conditions were the cause of the epidemic.

If the poliovirus vaccine is responsible for eradicating polio in our country,  then why is the poliovirus still prevalent in India, the Congo, and many African countries? There are still outbreaks after years and years of annual polio vaccine campaigns. This is due to a lack of sanitation and due to the vaccine itself. Wherever people use waterways for drinking, cooking, cleaning, and for sewage, polio will never go away.

2. The criteria for diagnosing the poliovirus changed. Doctors trusted vaccines to the point that they mis-diagnosed polio patients if they had been previously vaccinated. Instead, these well-meaning doctors attributed the symptoms to other diseases.

3. Before vaccinations, many doctors diagnosed anyone and everyone with polio-like symptoms as having poliovirus, regardless of the fact that other viruses like Coxsackie, echo, and enteroviruses can also cause long-term paralysis,

4. And last, but certainly not least, polio cases were already on the decline dramatically before the vaccine was introduced.

So during the peak of polio, everyone with polio-like symptoms was said to have the poliovirus. After sanitation programs began, cases of polio dropped significantly. Next, immunization began. Then there was another drop because everyone with polio-like symptoms, including those with polio, was said not to have the poliovirus.

Polio is long-term paralysis caused by the poliovirus and other diseases as well. Prior to 1954, the following undoubtedly hid behind the name “poliomyelitis”: Transverse Myelitis, viral or “aseptic” meningitis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS)- (what Franklin Delano Roosevelt had)[4], Chinese Paralytic syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, epidemic cholera, cholera morbus, spinal meningitis, spinal apoplexy, inhibitory palsy, intermittent fever, famine fever, worm fever, bilious remittent fever, ergotism, post-polio syndrome, acute flaccid paralysis(AFP).” – Suzanne Humphries, MD

Now the CDC reports that out of 162 confirmed cases of  paralytic polio, eight were contracted outside of the United States and 154 cases were actually caused by the vaccine itself. Mainstream-media is reporting that the polio vaccine campaign in India was a success. But there are 47,500 new cases of non-polio acute flaccid paralysis, which is caused by the polio vaccine and is said to be clinically indistinguishable from polio paralysis but twice as deadly.

Are Immunizations Responsible for the Eradication of Smallpox?

Many people point to the WHO Smallpox Eradication Programme that started in 1967. Initially, immunizing everyone with the vaccine was the plan, but it proved too difficult to implement and the idea was abandoned in favor of surveillance and containment.

This involved trained workers searching for cases, with rewards for those who found them. Cases and their contacts were then isolated; contacts were vaccinated.” – History Today

When Japan started compulsory vaccinations in 1892, they saw yearly increases in smallpox infections. In twenty years, there were 29,979 deaths from smallpox, and all of these people had been vaccinated.

In the Philippines, 8 million people received 24.5 million vaccinations (95% of their population). What followed was their worst smallpox epidemic ever with a quadrupled death rate.

In England, before 1853, the largest known  smallpox death count for a two-year period was approximately 2,000. Shortly after England’s compulsory vaccination , the death rate in England and Wales began to climb. In 1870 and 1871, the death rate peaked at more than 23,000 smallpox deaths. When the City of Leicester, England stopped vaccinating for smallpox between 1882 and 1908, they saw a remarkable reduction in cases compared to the rest of England.

In 1871, Bavarian cases of smallpox deaths totaled 30,742,. Of the dead, 29,429 had been vaccinated.

Polio, and virtually every other contagious epidemic disease for which we vaccinate. is spread by unsanitary conditions to people with poor health. Better sanitation reduced the occurrence of smallpox and polio, not vaccinations. The studies show us that, too often, the people who suffer from these diseases have either been vaccinated themselves, or they caught the disease from someone else who had been vaccinated.

One of the great triumphs of medical science is said to involve the eradication of smallpox. The fact that it was in decline before mass vaccination was instituted is conveniently forgotten, as are the many cases of fully immunized individuals contracting the disease.” – Vaccination and Immunization: Dangers, Delusions and Alternatives by Leon Chaitow.

The risks involved in smallpox inoculation are fairly well known. The United States government asked doctors to stop routine smallpox vaccinations in 1972. For some previous years, the only known cases of infection with smallpox were people who had been vaccinated. On top of that the vaccine is the most reactive of all and has been linked to the most serious side effects including death. It is also noted in many medical reports that people who receive the vaccine are not necessarily less likely to get smallpox, they are simply more likely to survive smallpox. This contradicts studies that report cases of smallpox deaths. When countries were doing compulsory vaccinations for smallpox, the death rate for those who received the vaccinations was as high or almost as high as the death rate for the non-vaccinated who contracted the disease.

Are Any Vaccinations Responsible for Eliminating Disease?

We could write about every single vaccine out on the market (if we wanted a 50 page article), and the story would be the same with the same answer. The answer is “no.” Sometimes we found graphs that make it look as though a disease was eliminated by immunizations, only to find that the graph has been manipulated. For instance, if you start a graph close to when a vaccine is administered to many people, it usually looks as though the vaccine had an effect on the infectious disease, when in fact, if you look back a few more years, it turns out that these diseases were already on a drastic decline. Time and time again, sanitation efforts increase (as they should when a population of people are getting sick) right before the drop in numbers.

But many other charts show an entirely different story.

Disease is spread when a population of poor, unhealthy people drink, cook, and bathe in water contaminated with sewage. Historically, when the disease begins to spread beyond the borders of the poor communities, people are quarantined and the communities are cleaned up and sanitized. This is when the disease declines within the population. Then a vaccine comes along, there is a bump in the amount of people infected due to the vaccine, but because money is involved, the reporting gets skewed and the vaccine takes all the credit.

A Dirty Business

Earlier this month, (July 2013), the CDC posted a page on their website stating that more than 98 million Americans received one or more doses of the polio vaccine within an 8-year time span in which a portion of the vaccines contained a cancer causing polyomavirus known as SV40. The page was quickly pulled down. In May of 2010, federal health authorities recommended that doctors suspend the use of Rotarix, one of two vaccines licensed in the United States against rotavirus, because the vaccine was contaminated with material from a pig virus. In 2009, Baxter flu vaccines were contaminated with H5N1. Vaccines have been contaminated with HIV. The list goes on. Often times when the contamination is found, the vaccines are shipped to third world countries and administered there. No lawsuits. No liability.

Mainstream Media Vaccination Scandals

Drug companies, time and time again, commit atrocities. We rarely hear about them because drug companies to a large extent control our mainstream media, but we do have a few videos from mainstream media that cover vaccine industry corruption.

The first video is a news story about how Bayer and the U.S. Government knowingly gave HIV tainted vaccinations to children. This is no surprise to us, except that the mainstream media actually covered it!

For every story that the mainstream media exposes, imagine how many are covered up.

For some time it seemed many people thought mercury was removed from all vaccines. Not true. Thimersosal is mercury and it is still a major ingredient in many vaccinations. After years of denying the connection between mercury and autism, routinely used children’s vaccines (except for flu shots) in the United States no longer contain thimerosal.

The rest of the ingredients don’t look so good either. You don’t have to be a scientist to understand that formaldehyde, aluminum, and mercury are very toxic to us. Ammonium sulfate can be found in the DTaP, DPT, HiB vaccines, all of which are routinely given to babies. Ammonium (basically positively charged ammonia), monosodium glutamate, potassium monophosphate, diphosphate, and phenoxyethanol (antifreeze) are other common and toxic ingredients found in vaccines, including children’s shots. If one were to suggest ingesting the same quantity of these ingredients found in a single vaccine, in any other way other than a vaccine, virtually every single doctor in the country would tell you that this could be extremely hazardous to your health. But put it in a vaccine, and inject it directly your blood stream, and suddenly these preservatives become inconsequential.

Vegan Issues

Flu and measles shots contain chick embryo and embryonic fluid. Vaccines cultured in human diploid cells that come from aborted human fetal tissue include Hepatitis A, RotaTeq, Varicella (chickenpox), Rubella, and Mump inoculations. Flu and mump shots are made in chicken eggs. Monkey kidney cells are used to create Polio vaccines. Other ingredients from animal byproducts include gelatin serums and guinea pig embryo cells.

Questions to Ask Yourself

If vaccines immunize, why must we keep taking them?

If vaccines are safe, why are laws being passed to protect the drug companies from any liability?

Do you trust these companies with your life and the lives of your children?

Do drug companies that create vaccines have any financial incentive to make the population healthy?

The Bottom Line

Vaccines are killing and damaging people. The drug companies do not care about our health. In fact, it behooves them not to heal us. This has been proven so many times, over and over again with scandal after scandal. It’s all about profit.

Even if the efficacy of vaccinations could be proven throughout history, we cannot recommend anyone inject something directly into their bloodstream that is sourced from corporations that have proven time and time again that they do not care about our health and wellbeing.
